What is Pipe Canvas

Pipe Canvas is a visual CI/CD pipeline builder that allows developers to build, visualize, and export pipeline workflows. Pipe Canvas is operated by Arju (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”).

What Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

• Email address and name when you create an account
• Password (stored as a secure bcrypt hash, never in plain text)
• Workflow content you create and save on the platform

Information collected automatically

• Pages you visit on pipecanvas.com
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referring URLs
• Time and date of visits
• General location data at the country or city level (not precise location)
• Actions you take in the app such as workflows created, templates loaded, and exports performed

Payment information

We do not store your payment card details. All billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy. When you subscribe to Pipe Canvas Pro, your payment details are collected and stored by Lemon Squeezy directly. Please refer to Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy for details on how they handle your payment information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Save and sync your workflows across sessions
• Send transactional emails such as password reset and account confirmation
• Send product update emails if you have opted in
• Understand how the product is being used so we can improve it
• Diagnose and fix technical issues
• Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use pipecanvas.com and the Pipe Canvas application. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, time spent, and actions taken. This data is aggregated and anonymized. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We also use Sentry for error monitoring. Sentry captures technical error information to help us identify and fix bugs. Sentry may collect browser and session information when an error occurs.

Your Workflow Data

Workflows you create on Pipe Canvas are stored on our servers. By default, workflows are public and accessible to anyone with the shareable link. You can make workflows private on the Pro plan.

We do not claim ownership of your workflow content. You retain full ownership of everything you create on Pipe Canvas.

We do not sell, share, or use your workflow content for any purpose other than providing the Pipe Canvas service to you.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

• With Lemon Squeezy to process payments for Pro subscriptions
• With Google for analytics purposes via Google Analytics 4
• With Sentry for error monitoring
• With our hosting provider (Railway or Render) where your data is stored and processed
• If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Pipe Canvas and its users

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and all associated workflows within 30 days. Some anonymized analytics data may be retained for longer periods.

Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Children

Pipe Canvas is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email if you have an account with us.
